Holy Shit, Drawing the TARDIS is WAAAY Harder Than I Thought
Updated: Feb 5, 2020
Brilliant idea for a cartoon! I love the outcome, but the process was trickier than usual. Here are a few tips I learned:
1. If at first you don't succeed...start over.
2. Draw the person first, then the TARDIS around them. It's much bigger than you think it is.
3. TARDIS Blue has a lot of green in it.

My first attempt where The Doctor came out too short and too static. But if it's worth the time and effort, try again!

Closer, but his legs are still too short!

I'm still not thrilled with David Tennant's eyes, but he has such an amazing face, all heart shaped! Sometimes I have to draw people several times in order to get it right, but I'm learning to be fearless and put my art out into the world, and to keep practicing and learning.
Just remember, never stop making art!
